Bourbon County Smoke- & Vape-Free Ordinance

On November 1, 2026, the Bourbon County Fiscal Court passed an ordinance prohibiting smoking, including e-cigarette use, in indoor public places and workplaces throughout Bourbon County.

The ordinance covers restaurants, bars, retail businesses, offices, and other workplaces. Private residences, private clubs, and outdoor areas are excluded, except that smoking is prohibited within a reasonable distance of entrances, windows, and ventilation systems.
