Smoking Cessation Classes
Bourbon County Health Department utilizes the Cooper/Clayton Method to Stop Smoking to help anyone who attends our classes kick the habit.  This is a 13-week program that meets 1 hour per week.  This program is successful because it relies on three pillars to help participants succeed: education, social support, and nicotine replacement therapy (NRT).  Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) is provided to participants free of charge and can include patches, lozenges, or gum.

You don't have to attempt to become a non-smoker on your own, we can help!  Let our trained facilitator guide you through the process and help troubleshoot when problems arise.  Classes are held Monday evenings at 6:30 at the Health Department.  Contact Cyndi Steele to sign-up at (859) 987-1915!

Physical Activity Classes
Bourbon County Health Department currently offers Hatha Yoga classes free to the community.  These yoga classes are designed to reach anyone wishing to participate.  Each movement comes with modification and everyone is encouraged to respect their body.  You are never too old or too young to start yoga and enjoy the movement of your body.

These classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:00 pm at the Health Department. Contact Cyndi Steele to sign-up at (859)987-1915!
